First time I noticed him was few years ago when he was playing in BBC TV drama about war in Bosnia & Herzegovina called Warriors (1999). He's not only gorgeous but an amazing actor too.

I'm a hugeeeeeeeeeee fan of Editors:-)..I adore them, their songs take my breath away. And now their official video of "You don't know love" song is out...It's my favourite song from their new album. As for the video not everyone will like it but I think it's amazing passionate - powerful - animal like - love dance...pure passion. I don't think you can make it better than it is, they managed to express all those feelings contained in this song. You have to watch it to know what I'm talking about. Even if you start thinking 'oh my what the hell is this' don't stop just watch and listen....
Tom (singer) is very handsome. Honestly, I forgot to breathe there for a moment. ....Oh my I'm totally in love with this band.

There's someone who I painfully like...I have no clue if he likes me too. That is sometimes I think he does then again maybe the signals I think he is sending to me are just my imagination or hope or whatever. You know when your eyes meet someone elses and you know in that instant that you like that person, that was my feeling...In the beginning I didn't really notice him, I think it was him who made me notice him:-)..He started stopping by more often than usual if he didn't I probably wouldn't pay much attention. I don't know what to do really. We never got introduced to one another or anything and I can't write more details here because well this is not my diary or anything and I'm not a teenager and all that stuff:-)...Yep, even grown ups end up with these little painful crushes and are clueless how to make things happen with someone they are attracted to....But how do I get a chance to get to know him without being pushy or anything.. And now I came across John Keats and his writings that is his letters to Fanny and one can relate to it indeed...Oh, I'm hopeless...

I love Editors new song....it's playing on repeat now:-) They're one of my favourite bands, sound wise they're very close to Joy Division which adds to their appeal at least to me.

By the way I really like LISCA (label from Slovenia, the link is in English) bikinis...In this picture below two from the left and first on the right I want them all. Next year I'm planning to go to Croatia and first thing I'm going to do is to visit one of LISCA stores:-) I find that their online shops don't have such good selection and the best way is to actually visit one of their locations (if possible) and go from there.

I read an article in Sunday Express and thought of posting some parts of it on here too...Some of you may find it helpful:-)

Natasha Kahn - Bat For Lashes, British alternative rock musician...Her music is amazing!!!...I know most of you probably heard about her at least you in Europe but we in Canada are usually slow when it comes to hearing good music from that side...Anyway my sister played to me "Daniel" song by Bat For Lashes today and I fell in love with its sound, look/video visuals, just general feel that Kahn gives with her music..It gives that feeling as if you're dreaming with open eyes, floating in the air........dreamy...very dreamy:-)

I'm the type of person who is difficult to impress and I've been like that as long as I can remember. I'm easily bored when doing same things, visiting same places, seeing same faces, hearing same type of stories, listening to same music.I never understood nor do I know the feeling of those who can do things over and over again and still find it fun.I can't even go to the same bar without eventually getting bored with it because it's predictable including its interior lol.

But really I get inspired by learning new things, hearing new ideas/stories, meeting new and interesting people, going to places I've never visited before, exploring areas I don't know so well...etc. And I'm also very visual which in this case means photography (good and with purpose kind of photography). To me that's inspiring and that moves me. As for being impressed I mean ordinary things that most people are so called excited about do not move me...I get impressed by people who are different or at least try not to follow the crowd, I'm impressed with unusual..or with those who know how to make me think.....Anything that will make me admire someone (which is rare)...I guess different in any sense tends to impress me.

I'm in love with these two, Miles (The Rascals) and Alex (Arctic Monkeys), and their music and the way they dress and look. Someone asked today what is it people love about period drama and in my case it would be language and the way they spoke in those days, scenery, costumes, romance, good and bad of rich and poor, the way they used to express themselves in a more polite manner than today, passion and patience between two lovers, certain rules they followed which is usually nonsense to our generation, and how no matter what happens and where they end up two people who found one another are still connected and sometimes it's a happy end and sometimes it's tragic. I guess with so many things that were forbidden in those days just managing to be with someone who is maybe out of your reach despite it all love always (or most of the times) wins.There's so much more about period dramas... the thing that they lived way more simple than we do today yet they seemed to be able to find happines in little things which makes our society today ever so ungrateful I guess. Living and enjoying life without computers, phones, TV, etc.

I'm a new fan of The Last Shadow Puppets band. It's a project of Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys, Miles Kane of the Rascals, and composer/producer James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Klaxons album), album is arranged by Owen Pallett (Arcade Fire).

They have this look of 60s.....that Beatles feel to it to be exact and I like them a lot.

Songs you should check and the ones that got my attention when I heard them for the first time are:

1. Standing Next To Me - such an amazing tune you'll know too if you check it first:-)

2. The Age of Understatement (being their first single). I love its video.

3. My Mistakes Were Made For You - yet another great song.

4. Gas Dance - such mesmerizing tune....

I watched new Star Trek movie last night and well I enjoyed it. It's not a bad movie and if you didn't see it yet you should...It's fun. Also, I think I developed a little crush on Spock's character (played by Zachary Quinto) or maybe it's just actor himself that I'm drooling over. What do you think? Great face and amazing looking hair:-)

I went to see Franz Ferdinand on Monday (May 4th) playing at the Kool Haus. This was my second time to see them, first time was I believe back in 2006 or something. For some reason I was never into them like some other die hard fans but I did like some of their songs and was very impressed first time I saw them live.

Not until this second time that I got the whole new appreciation for Franz Ferdinand. I love their new album "Tonight" more than previous one they made. I loved every minute of their show. It's different, it's refreshing, a nice change from all the bands I hear these days...just different sound in general. Not to forget that they sound amazing live, way better than on their recordings...Of course how could I forget their brilliant stage presence and the thing that they're not just good looking bunch but also very stylish bunch too. I love Alex's red shoes for example...Yes, I am now their new admirer! "Tonight" just might be my favourite album of 2009 although this year just started (in a way) I doubt I'll come across an album that I'll like as much as Franz Ferdinand. Expect to see more FF posts in the near future:-)

I really, really, really want to watch How To Be movie. I read reviews and I like what I saw so far. I'm impatient to see it at once! In general those types of movies get my attention because of its depressing funny nature which always makes me think (as if I'm not thinking too much already)...My title quote is actually from the movie and it made me laugh too.

On the other hand, I'm huge Hedi Slimane fan, simply love his photography work and could stare at it for hours.
