First blog and Clifton David

Well I figured it's about time to make my official blog page considering that I write like a lunatic. Also instead of having more than 5 web pages with bunch of blogs I decided to put it all in one place which will be this page. I'm aware that I may not have as many readers as I would hope for but one has to start somewhere, right?.
Tomorrow night I'm supposed to go to see
Clifton David (picture taken by Ron Weeks). I mean I'm a huge fan of his music and since I saw him live for the first time on CMW at the Rivoli (this month) I was completely mesmerized by his performance. So tomorrow night he'll be playing at Grossman's Tavern (on Spadina) from 10:30 pm until 2 am. If you wonder (or maybe not) why I'm so fascinated with this guy well I wouldn't even know how to tell you myself. He's very talented
musician/songwriter.
He's an amazing guitarist. He's able to completely knock you down with his stage performance and what he does to that guitar can give you goosbums all over your body. At least that's what happend to me when I saw his show for the first time.
You know that feeling when you discover some amazing music and you can't stop talking about it? Well that's my case here:-).....I had a chance to meet him after his show at the Rivoli (CMW) and he proved to be a very nice person (from what I was able to tell in those few short minutes anyway). In my opinion he deserves all the attention because his music is for sure very original. Clifton is the best thing that came out of Toronto. I would love to do an interview with him. I just think that he should be in every music magazine, on every musically oriented web page and people should be talking about his music everywhere and yet that's not the case...BUT I'm here to let you know. I'm here to spread the word because music like this doesn't come very often.
